New waveland tech?

Ok so after rewatching GOML2016 grand finale I noticed Ally do what looks like an invincible waveland onto Dreamland. I tried replicating this but to no avail. I did however notice that you can airdodge onto the stage and get a boost of momentum. I'm still testing this with different characters and from what I've observed the distance you go is heavily dependent on the air speed of your character. If you have any information on this please share. Thank you.

Probably just a no impact landing, assuming that still exists in Smash4.

It was probably a lagless ledge get-up but since I don't know that precise moment when Ally did it I'm not sure.

Mmmh, I think it was just a well-timed airdodge and he ended up doing a slide when landing because of traction/stage/dunno. Very nice, however, it was probably frame perfect.

The slide is what I've observed the most. I did some testing and it seems like if you airdodge onto the ground, depending on character air speed ,you will slide.
