New to Utah Smash Scene

Hey everybody!!! My name is caden, but in gaming I'm known as Cazobie and I really really love smash. I've always been into SSB64 and SSBB but never melee or project M, i love watching smash at xanadu and the old school players like ken and isai but I just don't have anyone to practice with or any tournament experience and I'm REALLY interested in starting local tournaments and stuff I LOVE SMASH

No i haven't actually could you point me in the right direction?? i love this community already by the way haha way better than league of legends community which was the last game i tried to get into
