hey there, entered my first comp ever today as lucas (brawl eu launch tourny for a 40" tv) and got to the semi finals where i gave a skilled player a run for his money till a golden hammer dropped.. :(

Being happy with how i did for a first competitive session im thinking about playing more seriously. Im a pretty decent lucas (played ness in melee) although i do maybe abuse PK thunder launches a bit too much.

Is there any advice a lucas player or ex ness veteran can give thats essential to nail for the competitve scene?
please dont point me to the 'how to play lucas' threads because i know the basics :)
Was it really that competitive?

Anyways... if you haven't already, you could try setting the C-stick to specials. The result, B-sticking, can be used to perform wavebouncing and wavelanding. (I love how all ATs have nothing to do with "waves".)
