Hey, I'm a Utah Smasher, play Pit, who's moving into the Fresno are come the end of October. Other than where San Fran, LA, and San Diego are I don't really know anything about Cali. Where should I go for the Smash scene around there, both physically and which threads here on the forum? How strong's the scene now compared to Melee days? Thanks for any info/advice in advance.

well Fresno's kind of out of the way, and pretty far north for the whole 805/818 LA county scene. You're abaout an hour and a half from Modesto, and I hear they're pretty active. I'm sure there's smashers in Fresno, there are usually people everywhere. You're welcome to post in pretty much any of the threads here, so make yourself known. Check maps.google.com to see whats near you. Tourney Hosts usually put their city's name in the thread title, so its easy to find out how clcose/far something is. Dont forget that you're welcome to host tourneys too :D
