New to smashboards

Hey whats up!
My name is Andrew and i'm just some kid from the Midwest. I would always go over to my neighbors house and play melee on their GameCube and get my ass whooped. This really turned me into the competitive video game player i am today. I really want to get good at this game, and would totally love to get involved with competitions. In Michigan, especially Grand Rapids, has a really big smash scene. The Big House is one of the biggest tournaments and it is only an hour away from me which is really sweet.
I don't know how many of you care or if ill just get random spam replies, but i'm glad you at least recognized my message lol.
