Hey everyone, don't know what is normally posted in these threads, but here goes! I am a Marth main who has very recently moved to Boone, NC and finally decided to make a smashboards account because I figure it's been long enough! I've been apart of competitive Melee for under a year, with the first tournament I ever watched being the Big House 3. I was mesmerized by how fast the game was being played, and lo and behold, found my way to the forums on here as well as the subreddit! My goal is to be the best Marth in my area/region/state and see how far I can take it! Also I love Fire Emblem.
Although I haven't been to any tournaments yet (Combination of lack in my previous area+practicing tech skill), I do plan on going to some whenever possible and I really want to start one up especially with the local university being a big part of my area!
Outside of Smash, I'm a music education major trying to finish up my degree within the next 2 years! My goal professionally is to teach postsecondary voice/choir. Other than that I am just working right now to fund this goal alongside everything else!
I am a longtime Reddit lurker, and now browse /r/smashbros as a result as well! I can be found there under Hero-King as well.
