Hey guys. I've been wanting to get into the competitve scene of Smash but I don't really know how to. How do I sign up for tournaments and what are the requirements? I'm from Springfield, MA are there any near me?

Hello, and welcome to the boards!

When signing up for tournaments there are usually no requirements (sometimes a small fee or placing high in a qualifier). You just find one near you that is in a suitable time for you, like an off-day from work or something. As for Springfield's scene, It's rather small but it is there. You can locate a tournament by looking up anything along the lines of "Springfield, MA Smash tournaments" or using SmashBoards' tourney locator.
