New to smash and this forum

I bought ssbm a few weeks ago after months of watching competitive smash. As soon as I discovered Smash was so popular still I knew that I wanted to get into it. Of course, this was a game I played as a kid so I remembered being great at it, never losing to my friends. Now I'm looking to break into the competitive scene but I'm gonna need a lot of work and help. I've been practicing with Falco for a few hours everyday for the past week and I feel as if I've sort of hit a wall. Like I need to play with other people to at least get a taste of what actually works in-game against another human. That being said, I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I was wondering if anybody would have any resources to figure out how I could find people to play with locally. Thanks in advance to anybody that does help!

tl;dr: I'm new to smash melee and I'm looking for people to play in my area: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
