Smash Cadet
Hey guys,
I've been playing smash on and off for nearly 10 years now, and started getting into the semi-competitive spirit about 4 years ago in brawl. After which I rediscovered melee from the competitive side and fell in love with the game all over again. Then I found Project M and fell in love with that too.
I've spent countless hours practicing ATs, studying high level matches, and I've alsomanaged to find other players both in and out of the community to play with who are my level or better. The reason I don't consider myself fully competitive yet is because I haven't really been part of the bigger community, doing bigger tournaments or such. The main reason is because playing melee, and especially Project M Lucas, started to put a big strain on my hands, which I need as I am a percussion playing music major. I feel for PinkFresh and his hand cramps mid-match. But now that Smash4u is coming out, I feel it is a good time to be part of a growing competitive scene which I can't imagine will require as much button-pressing pain as what I'm used to.
For those wondering at all, my Melee mains were Peach, Falco, Sheik, with secondaries of Puff and Doc. My Project M main was Lucas with secondaries ROB and Ivysaur. My Brawl main was Diddy with a secondary Olimar. Anyway, hope to get to know you all, and all the exciting metagame exploration we'll be doing together soon.
