New to project M... Sorta

Right so I guess I am an experience ssb player. Relatively new to project M (about 2 weeks) so I currently main only ivysaur on project M, but I want to pick up someone else. I'm thinking Diddy Kong or Pit.

As an aspiring Diddy kong player, what could you pass onto me as advice on playstyle or any special techniques I ought to learnt?
