New to competitive smash

hey guys im new to competitive smash, I wanna main diddy since he's my favourite character due to child hood feels. Curious what his kill%s are, and any special strats/techniques/combos I'll need as a diddy main.

Even if you could redirect me to a thread that has everything I wanna know for diddy that would be great.

I don't know everything about Diddy since I don't use him, but I can give some tips.

Competitively, Diddy is a very good character, even after his nerf. A great tool from him that you should make use of is his Banana Peel. It can trip opponents and effectively set up for his kill moves.

Down throw is also really good to set up aerials, particularly his up air. While it's not as effective for killing as it was before, using it from a down throw along with his other aerials is effective for racking up damage.

I don't really know much else aside from that, but other people will be able to tell you. I hope this helped.

I've actually been using my own style, I'm using his monkey face **** to knock people off the edge and get em to use their jump, then I either juggle then with up a or meteor them with down a, bananas I use to toss at them when their about to jump, if I land it they normall die
