I don't know if someone noticed this before(but I think yes), but watch the Nintendo Fall Conference 2007 Trailer.

At 0:45 and at 0:51 again (Ice Climbers and Squirtle) you can clearly see an Aurora in the sky, as well as some dark clouds.

So..... new stage?Ice Climbers one?

I think this has been pointed out multiple times.

But yes, many think this is a new stage.

The only ones with dark backdrops are New Pork City, Battlefield, and Smashville, and it isn't any of those.
