New Stage Tournament

Not sure if this idea was proposed, but with the stage builder, a new type of tournament is possible. In this tournament, the organizers would create tournament legal (we'll have to wait until those standards are clear in brawl) stages beforehand. During the tournament, these would be the only available stages to play on, and players would not get to see these stages until the moment they begin fighting. Of course, mastery of certain set stages is a skill in melee, but learning a new stage quickly is another skill that can be tested with this type of tournament.

That's actually brilliant. Obviously, everything would be tournament legal. And people have to learn the stage as they fight...I love it. Definitely bring this up again if it doesn't receive much attention.

What would happen after the players see tons of three-platformers and Final-Destination-style things?

Yup it'll be easier on the tournaments. They can just build their own stage to their liking without any on-stage distractions.

I still like the idea of the Smash Senate and other great minds creating and approving stages hat would all eventually be made "offical"
