Hey everyone,
I played a fair amount of SSBM when I was younger and played Brawl for a while in junior high before moving on to mostly PC gaming. However, I've always had a special place for smash and would occasionally watch vgbootcamp if nothing else was on Twitch. When The Smash Brothers documentary was mentioned on reddit I watched all of them and rekindled my interest. I would appreciate any sort of very basic guides to teching/DI/whatever else the pros do or some characters to work on.
Some facts about me:
I'm 18
Male
Never played video games competitively
Only good (so far) with Captain Falcon
One question: I'm assuming that Smash tournaments are predominantly still on the East/West coasts and there isn't much midwest action, but are there any casual tournaments in Minnesota, specifically Twin Cities area?
Thanks,
The M
