New Smash Brothers Game!

Alright, Brawl will be released, and it will be great but let's speculate on the future of the series here on out! Right now, Sakurai, the main director of the Smash series, stated that he is not willing to produce another Smash game (maybe we can get an AC rep then?). So, who might head the next Smash?

Then, there is debate on which system the next Smash will be on. Nintendo is good for milking their series for what they're worth, so, they might make a DS itteration featuring some characters whom have had some portable games, or their primary games are on portables. Here is a brief list:

Wil (Advance Wars)

Or, it might be one of those once a console things, and we might not see any of out favorite characters that didn't make it in for another seven years! Anyways, which characters do you see getting in if this turns out to be true?

To me, Brawl will be the "Real" sequel to the first game. By real I mean, a game that is all fun, you more than love using items, and you will go crazy if you don't play it right away. I consider this also by the fact that it is an E rated game the last time I checked, and I'm not going to check again to try to find what I already really want. Melee is rated T, but what makes it great is the attacks, it seems more teen than toon like. I'm not going against Brawl already, but it just troubles me alot. I considered this ever since they took wavedashing out...so what else would they take out. I'm sorry for this being long, and hopefully noone will consider it, but on the good side, they might have delayed the game to add wavedashing...as unthoughtful to me that would be. Sorry for the new speculation, but PLEASE...DON'T CONSIDER IT...AT ALL.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Brawl 2.0 before Nintendo's next system comes out, something like "Super Smash Bros. Brawl Turbo". Sakurai spent so much time and manpower on Brawl that Nintendo would be foolish not to take advantage of all that groundwork.

Uh no. Thats BS. You try doing his job, then you'll see. I'd love to see you make a game half this good. No, 1/100 this good. The fact that no game will top this one is what makes it great. Who was the orchestrater? Sakurai.

But, more on topic:

NO. NO MORE SPECULATING. STOP. The roster is here, live with it, or dont. buy. Brawl. Frankly, you shouldnt be upset your favorite character wasnt in, mine was(*cough* Olimar *cough*), but that has nothing to do with it.

You seem to not be appreciating at all what Sakurai has given to us. Thats a shame. He put 2 1/2 years good work into this, to make sure it was the best it could possibly be.

Yet, youre dreaming about the next Smash, when your favorite character might be added again. I, understandably, if there is one, DREAD the next smash, for these reasons:

1. It wasnt made by Sakurai, so I would be very uneasy about it.
2. Speculation. Speculation is what pissed me off these many months waiting for Brawl.
If I have to do it again, I might go mad, and I think many others feel this way.
3. What more could they do? Sakurai himself said "We really have thought of everything" and with this confession directly from the creator, what more do you want?

You wanted many characters to be in Melee that werent in, all of you did. THey werent. THe roster was not so great, UNLIKE this one. However, Melee was still the best gamecube game, and best game overall produced on those 3 competing systems.

Brawl will surpass Melee. It's roster is fantastic, I dont care that youre sad Isaac or Geno wasnt in. I am a little bit, but you know what? It doesnt matter, because the roster, when looked at logically, is still fantastic. We got another wtf character, who looks amazing, luigified characters, semi Luigified characters (Wolf) and others. We got 3 very unique characters - Olimar, PT, and Snake. What more could you ask for?

People, stop whining, stop speculating about the next Smash, and just enjoy Brawl when it's released. The time for speculation is over.
