Hi everybody, I am a new player looking for friendly matches. Compared to the average skill level here, I am probably dumpster tier. Me and a friend got into PM about a month ago, and hes away on a trip and I'm getting really bored fighting the CPU. I don't know how to wavedash, or even 90% of the technical stuff. I'm not looking for someone to spoonfeed me or mentor me for free, but if you don't mind playing someone well below your skill level I will GLADLY take advantage of learning from you.
Info: I am using Dolphin 4.0-7840 on PC. (high end PC, stable framerate.) I have 50 down / 10 up internet, and live in central west Texas (midland). My friend lives in Tennessee and we have a stable ~50ms connection to eachother.
About Me: I am 22, been playing games since the dreamcast. I have exclusively been on PC for about 5 years now, so my first goal in PM is to get used to using a controller again and learn my character. I was a high rated WoW arena player for 2 years, I know that has very little relevance in the mechanics of Smash or even fighting games in general, but it taught me a lot about improving, analyzing, and learning in competitive gaming. I watch a decent amount of competitive smash, so I feel like I have a general albeit rough idea about what to do and how to progress in PM.
Contact info: https://discord.gg/0rO4CraWooFerzb7 is my discord server that I am always in if I'm at my computer. Or you can add me as a friend on discord: Awmnawm#4718. Or you can message me on smashboards.
