New people to play smash with

I've been wanting to get into competitive smash for a while now, but I only have 1 person to play with that's also competitive. Is there any way to find good players near me?

Regional zone boards, the FB groups listed in this forum, attend local tournaments. There really isn't a better way to meet competitive players.

IIRC Pennington is only about 20 minutes away from Rutgers, which I would assume has a decent Smash scene considering it is the host of Apex.

Wow. You have VERY close access to many smashers!

Hopefully Apex 2014 will be rolling!

What this guy said. Go to the regional boards. Find your areas thread. Post. Go kick some ass . Or have fun either way.
