Oh. Ok then.In PM 3.02 you can airdoge right off of a jump off the ledge (pressing up x or y) for perfect wave lands on stage for every character to retain invincibility, without an chance of an SD.
Note I did not discover this option, it was discovered by @Nannas
Well in my region (New England) the vast majority of players did not and do not know about this, and I only started screwing around in PM since they released samus in 3.0, so I wouldn't know anything about the 2.1 days.Pretty sure this is widely known by almost everyone.
It's even mentioned a lot in general tier discussions (where I lurk) way back in 2.1 days by a few people for being significant things for everyone that DJCs like Ness Lucas M2 Yoshi and Peach because they can DJC/FC aerials right off the ledge instantly which people like ness and m2 and especially peach given she's the only good character of that melee batch all never had many options from the ledge but now they do.
Yes indeed it does the best player i've played does this every time he plays bowser it's just this stupid ledge jump land into instant upb back to the ledge over and over repeatedly that I'm pretty sure is just a permanent whirling fortress hitbox on the ledge and invincibleThis is godlike with Bowser btw, I'm pretty sure that under 100% its faster than a regular edgedash and has vulnerability extending into the air dodge landing lag

This actually is kinda new... literally no one uses or discusses this option.... despite a few people knowing about it before and it not being used... does not mean this shouldn't be discussed to make it more widespread.This is not new, try again.

Basically not very talked about because in general it's not very good
but for floaty characters like puff, samus and peach have trouble retaining ledge invincibility off normal wavelands, it can be useful and since its common knowledge pre 3.0 that its not very good, perhaps its more useful for some characters
