I would like to seem some new moves in Brawl, but the question is, what moves? From Smash to Melee a whole lot of stuff was added - air dodge, side b, charging smashes, lots of stuff. I'm wondering if anyone knows what new techniques and abilities will be added in Brawl. Hopefully a decent amoutn, but not enough to change the gameplay too much. There are those awesome looking specialty moves, but that's all I know. Hopefully, wavedashing will still be there.

Gamecube controller, confirmed.

There's already special moves. I can see special moves after a certain combo or something, but that might break the game.

Perhaps a short-hop button, maybe a shield-counter break, but I can't imagine much else.

No. Gamecube controller IMPLIED. Dude! When developers promise features, they often fall by the wayside. Sakurai didn't even promise us gamesube controllers. Also, Nintendo won't want one of its premier franchises played on old technology in ads and at demos. It'll be Classic at least, maybe Wiimote, and MAYBE with a gamecube controller OPTION.

Logic & Evidence > rumor & the hopes of Melee purists who don't want anything to threaten their suppposed supremacy.

Alright. Try to imagine a 4-player battle royale with Wii-Motes.
:dizzy:

GC controllers HIGHLY IMPLIED then. They said they wanted it to be normal, no classic, no Wii-motes.
