New Mario Paint?

Anyone think that theres a possibility that Nintendo might make a new Mario Paint?

This thread reminded me of something. It would be wonderful if Nintendo made a remake or sequel of/to Mario and Wario for the Wii.

Back in the day, Mario Paint was amazing. Now though, with MS Paint, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc on computers, I don't think it'd be too hot of a seller. I mean, I know I wouldn't buy it.

Well, with import games on the VC now, that could be a possible in the future.

I think I remember Nintendo at one point commenting on the pposibility, but you can already do that sort of stuff on the photo channel.

a Mario Paint for either, Wii and DS, would be really boring. We have a photo channel on Wii, as Mic said, and a Pictochat on DS. What would be the reason for a new Mario Paint?

If it was some free download from the shop then it would be cool, otherwise no. I think using the wiimote as a paintbrush would be kind of fun.

Oh comon Mic, can you honestly say that with a straight face? Lack of ability to swat flies in photo channel /= Mario Paint

They either need to release this game through the Virtual Console and allow the Wiimote to be used as a mouse, or they need to completely remake it and release it through the WiiWare channel. Either way this game would kick ***.
