I used to own Brawl a few years ago and played it a bit (nothing hard, just beat the campaign and would play casual games with my friends) and in the past month, i've discovered that several of my friends play it at a low competitive level. I went out and rebought the game, and i'm looking to improve. Are there any strategy guides that I can easily access? I'm going to be playing mostly Project M, and i'm looking to main Sheik, Falco, or Pit (who's the only character I really used to play, but I want to move to Sheik). Also, are there any moves/tips for beginners? Any way to improve fast/moves or strategies to learn?

Unless I get anything good on here, my plan is to play Sheik (or Falco or Pit, I haven't really decided yet) until I can four-stock a lvl 9 bot, and then start challenging my friends until I can beat them all fairly regularly.

Yeah, see i'm gonna play a relatively casual tournament with a few of my friends (including two pretty good ones) and we'll see where it goes.
