New in a non new kind of way

so I was on these boards years ago when melee was released and they had a little RPG thing going on. since then I came back briefly for brawl but ultimately just stopped playing due to time constraints. so its been a long time, but I'm back! hopefully I can find some other great players to play with and have some fun competitive matches. who knows. learn a thing or two?

just don't know how one goes about finding people in their area to legitly practice with and try to get better? any pointers if anyone knows would be welcome as well. but thats not why I'm creating this. just an introduction and my first step back in to the smash universe. huzzah!
