A GC PRO Controller? FINALLY.

Getting it for Wind Waker HD. Not patching that to be Adapter-compatible is inexcusable.

I'm hoping they don't break easy like usual hyperkin products. I am interested in this, however.

I love how this is getting so much attention when WaveDash was doing is last year. Credit where credit is due, people. They're just copying WaveDash. I'm glad that someone is, but they are stealing a concept.

Google "The WaveDash controller". Lost potential.

What is WaveDash?
It was basically the same, except sticking with more GameCube -like dimensions, and same size sticks. No recessed L and R, plain black by default, but it never got enough a tenth of the attention that the procube is getting.

Well regardless of this being not entirely a fresh new idea, it still looks decently comfortable. Hoping I can test it out.

I don't like the recessed L and R, and that it's not the exact GameCube dimensions. And there's other things that they haven't specified, like whether they put L and R on the bottom like it should be, with ZL and ZR on top. I also hope that it is a microUSB charger, as that mini nonsense is annoying. And black is such a better colour.

It would be really nice if they could make it wire able to use with the adapter... so the input lag, however small, could be avoided... and having a GC controller compatible both with my Wii (I still use it for gamecube games... Mario Party pre car ride junk with the right people is epic). and Sm4sh would be amazing.

But 3rd party controllers are notoriously bad long term... I have had nothing but bad experiences with them.

Some company, I don't freaking care who, needs to realize that instead of making money by selling a bunch of cheap junk you can *GASP* Sell a quality product and people will want to buy it!

If it lasts for years, thumb sticks decay at a 1st party rate, buttons don't stick any quicker than 1st party ones do, It is something I shall consider buying. I don't think I have bought anything from this company... but to get my business they will have to break the 3rd party controller stigma.

looks interesting, i'd want to try it out before i considered getting one.

i feel like most people (myself included) would probably want to just stick with using a regular gamecube controller anyway, but this could be good for the games where you can't use one

I honestly have had no issues with third party.

Yeah: Mario Kart 8, Pikmin 3, Hyrule Warriors, Zelda U, and for wireless Smashing.

Only third party I find that tends to work for the longhaul is SNES/Genesis era third party controllers, some Hori controllers.

Which ones have you bought, and how often do you use them? And for what games? If you have found some quality stuff I want to know about it!
I have the Nyko Pro Commander, the PowerA mini Wii U Pro, and the Hori Battle Pad. I also have the PDP Fight Pad, but that thing is bulky. Prettyer, much, much prettyer, and I suppose if you have massive hands, it'd be good. But even with My larger than normal hands, it's too much, akin to the original xbox controllers. The Nyko one I've used for Mario Kart, and it's lasted through hours of that, and I went through all of Pikmin 3 with it. The PowerA is really small; I really only got it for my nephew, and he's rough with controllers, and it's lasted through many games of Mario Kart. The Hori is the best Classic Controller; I love that thing. It's exactly like the GameCube controller, except it is read as a Classic Controller. And, crucially: ZL and ZR are the top triggers, with L and R at the bottom. I use that one for anything that is compatible with the classic controller, even Smash was I sit farther away than the wires go. I honestly won't get this ProCube if the triggers aren't like that. I would buy eight of them in a heartbeat, if they're designed as well as the Hori. I've also had many third party wireless controllers for GameCube, and PS2. The issue there was bulk. If you like the official GameCube controller, though, Hori is where it's at. Neither PowerA or the Nyko have flipped triggers, but they're mostly used for Mario Kart, and the Nyko I only ever used with Pikmin 3. I tried those two with Smash, and I didn't even last a full match. Even with remapping the buttons, it was awful.

There are myths of an FPS Pro Wii U Pro controller; but I've never found it. If you find it, do let me know.
