Smash Wii U New Gamecube Adapters won't be coming until after Christmas

Hi everyone. Unfortunately, I'm one of the many that did not preorder a gamecube adapter. I've been searching for an adapter everyday since the launch, unfortunately no luck. Today I visited my local gamestop again and was told that new gamecube adapters will be coming after Christmas the earliest. I've called 2 other gamestops and they both said the same thing.

Just a heads up for those also in the same boat.

Boy am I lucky. Where I bought my adapter, they still had it in stock and I didn't pre-order. Looks like the folks around that area were not aware of how awesome the Adapter is (although my only two reasons for buying it at the moment were to support Nintendo and to possibly influence GameCube Virtual Console releases on the Wii U).
