New game modes?

We've all been talking for a while about which game modes should return from SSB and SSBM, but does anyone have any ideas for new game modes that would work?

Are you talking about versus modes? Because if coin battle left, I don't think anyone would notice.

Yeah, coin mode can leave.
How about some sort of King of the Hill mode? Hight damage ratio, get hit off the stage, lose the crown, whoever hit you off claims the crown, first to 1 minute wins.

Also, single player bonus modes. Any ideas?

Coin Mode is fine. It can stay.

1) King of The Hill: I guess the rules would be something like.... a certain platform on the stage will be highlighted, and players fight for control of it. The first player to contact it is in control. To take control of a platform from someone else, you must get on the platform and remain on for 5 seconds, at which point you get control. Can be played as a time or stock match.

2) Revamp stamina mode to be far more robust. Allow for varying HP amounts, handicaps, and multiple stocks.

3) Gladiator Mode: Similar to Timesplitters 2. A random character is designated the Gladiator and glows to signify this. If someone kills the Gladiator, they become the Gladiator. Only the Gladiator may score points for KOs. Play to a certain number of KOs.
