This has probably already been figured out but I'll post anyways.

I was fooling around with Fox's firefox. When Fox is moving at full speed you can firefox and still travel in that direction. Fox looks like he's floating with flames around him. This edgehog works if you're running full speed. To do it you run full speed towards the edge. Just before you're about to run off the stage, firefox and hold the direction you were running. Fox will still travel off stage in the startup of the firefox. As you're about to complete the firefox you should be off stage close to the edge. Quickly turn back toward the stage and Fox will grab the edge.

I don't know if this has any use. It's more flashy then anything. If I find a way to record it I'll try. The only use I can think of is the flames provide some protection but not much.

Tell me what you guys think.

Yeah, this concept is used with a number of characters. Characters slide with enough momentum, and can use that to edgehog with a technique. Fox can also do this with the shine, Link can do it with his spin, etc. Its still cool and fun to flaunt with as you KO.

It can be applied to Link but Link runs far too slow to have his up B carry him a good amount of pixels on the floor. It does work the same way and so does his shine.

It's almost like an illusion except for when you illusion you have to run off the stage. This way you can just firefox and let the momentum carry you off the stage. This way you'll be at the end of the firefox and ready to grab.

even though people know about it, I like when people figure things out like this on their own.
it shows that we're actually trying to learn new things and not just copy all chillin's moves or whatever
