Hey guys. Its EJAC (Captain John) here. I haven't seen this tech around yet, so I figured I'd post about it. While I was f*cking around with ledge-aerial regrabs, I found one that might be useful, the Ledge Knee Regrab. I only do it about 3 times, but with consistency it could help propel Falcon in some matchups. https://youtu.be/4Ol10C52ES4 here it is. Theres probably only a couple timings to it, but I use c-stick instead of a ->. Happy Smashing!

You're not even ranked on smash boards, uninstall melee forever pls.

Okay, but seriously: its neat, but I'm not sure what practical use this would have. Uair and bair cover more space, generally what we want to cover in an edge guard situation. Knee covers a smaller space, but I guess the reverse hit box could get a few kills a little easier. Maybe it'd be good for puff edge guards since bair probably isn't always enough to kill puff? But edge guarding puff is pretty dangerous to begin with, not sure if this is actually of any use. Other than that, I think its easier to just do the other 2 options, and will probably get the job done just as well.

Qcircle on the main stick and knee on the cstick makes this pretty easy to do.

Lmao

I've reversed it as a mix up on ledge. You can maintain some invincibility if you do it quick enough, and a lot of people don't expect it. That's the extent I've seen of its use though.

looks like it would have some application, but then again so does everything in melee. This isnt Falcon-Meta changing but im glad we have people exploring these abilities and options. Thanks for just being you :yeahboi:
