New controller problems

I recently bought a new third party controller and I have a question. If the L and R buttons have springs in them making them, for lack of a better term, "modded". I have another controller but I'm still wondering if the controller is tournament legal despite the "modification". If anyone has any idea if this would matter in a tournament I would really appreciate it.

Controller modifications and custom controllers are legal so long as they don't allow turbo fonctionalities or macros.
