New Content in Characters

It has been 6 years since Melee was released, and during that time, our Nintendo All Stars haven't been hibernating for Brawl. We have had numerous games involving the Melee cast, and of course, they introduced new content to the series. Here are a few examples I can list:

1) Link dawned his TP outfit. He also now has the ability to draw in foes with this boomerang.

2) D.E.B.B.S ALERT Mario now has the FLUDD

3) Fox's new outfit isn't a new model, it is based off his command model.

4) Peach's FS is based off her special move in Super Princess Peach

5) Pikachu got Volt Tackle (this I guess isn't tooo valid as Volt Tackle was introduced prior to Melee is GS)

6) DK has been in the Bongo games using one of thee quirkiest peripherals ever.

7) Yoshi has his new upright model from more recent Mario Parties/Sporting games.

8) Samus had her Zero Suit play a role in Zero Mission, hence making it a playable option.

9) Zelda was completely remodeled

10) Bowser got his Giga Bowser persona from Melee made famous.

I'm sure there are even more points you can pick up on. What other veteran overhauls are you looking forwards to, what stages would you want from a particular series that is more recent, and what items/ATs would you like from a perticular series?

I would like Luigi to get his Vacuum added to his moveset.

P.S. It would have been better if Mario kept the Tornado as his Bv, then have the Cape as his >Tilt or > Aerial.

Pretty much everything I thought of first. Except I want a Zelda stage set in the Sacred Forest from Twilight Princess too.

And, unrelated, I am pining for some reference to the Sacred Treasures from Kid Icarus... maybe a trophy of Amazing Pit, because that would kick ***!!

im with most of those and hopefully luigi has the Mr. L costume/they should give bowser a cape/give luigi his vacuum/gotta make krool a boss!

I don't care what moves Luigi has, as long as they get rid of that stupid Luigi Missile move.
It's non-canon.

I agree there, just because it doesn't make any sense at all. It isn't anywhere near anything that he could do in any of his games.

And I know, Captain Falcon and Fox couldn't do any of their moves either but their movesets had to be made up, Luigi has things that make sense that could replace the missile move easily.

i want to see a paper character. like paper mario, paper luigi, paper bowser, or so on. I personally think doc needs to get cut and they need to add paper mario.

a galaxy stage with gravit would be amazing. black holes take off stock instead of falling off sicne u cant?

Pikachu and its evolution family didn't get Volt Tackle until Emerald Version and the GameCube game Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness In XD, an opponent had an all-Pikachu/Pichu/Raichu team with Volt Tackle, and thought he was a tough opponent. In Emerald there was a secret and hard-to-complete method through which you could breed a Pichu with that move.

Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed and LeafGreen had the move programmed into them, but there was no way to access it without cheating until Emerald came around.

So yes, Volt Tackle does count as new content.

This is a really good and interesting post. It would be nice if OP kept the list updated. There are a lot of things I'd like to see in Brawl, but I'm not going to hope/wish for anything, because I don't want to be dissapointed. I think the taunts have already been a huge success.

The Zelda models are from, OOT and TP. If I can remember, Young Zelda had a special costume and one of the Alternate's also has x3
