Never been to a tourney..

I'm only 12, and I'm new to Smashboards, so take it a bit easy. What are they like? Are there a bunch of people there that take it all seriously and complain about Brawl, or people that play for fun? I've read about them, and IMO it sounds pretty negative.

Depending on the tournament they can be really hype but a lot of people may talk trash. At all of the tournaments i been nobody has even talked about Brawl. And they're really fun to play in.

If you're learning on how to do good in tournaments and how to prepare for it this thread is a really good one to look at.
