Neutral B + Luma Returning

Early on in the game you could send luma out, do whatever you needed to and then when you pressed b to make luma return you used to be able to attack while it was returning to you and as a result luma would stop in place and do whatever attack you did with rosa.

Now it seems either Luma returns too fast for this to either happen or it was patched out so you couldnt do this. Anyone know which it is?

You are still able to attack but only when Luma is close to Rosalina.

it wasnt patched out, you can still do this at great distances, like if luma is off the stage, or rosa is.

what was patched in with 1.0.4 was luma's return time was vastly *decreased, making it far more difficult at short distances.

*Vastly decreased. Luma returns quicker in v1.0.4. Additionally, the distance covered by Luma Shot is shorter compared to previous versions. Less distance to cover + covers distance quicker = less time to execute attacks while returning.
