Netplay on Mac

Hello! I have came for some help from people of the Smash Community to seek advice to setup Netplay on Mac. I have absolutely no idea what to do so if anyone could give me a quick for setup that’ll help a lot. I need to know everything, including
A ROM I can download THAT ISN’T SHADY! (Which is probably isn’t a thing lol) OR
To Rip a disc as I have a Melee disc already
How to setup the GameCube controller and adapter (the Offical Nintendo one, not the Mayflash)
And how to setup games against people (preferably Smashladder)

I'm not sure of asking for ROMs is good but I'm pretty sure you can find a Melee one on thepiratebay. Considering you own Melee I don't think they'll lock this thread.

You will have to find a ROM on your own. If you really have difficulties, try posting in the daily discussion thread of the r/SSBM subreddit and ask someone to PM you a link, I'm sure you'll get an answer.

Apart from that, use the instructions for the controller adapter that A Scrub posted above and then use the following guide from smashladder.com(which is where you can find people to play with):

If you read the instructions carefully, you should have no problems setting everything up.
