Netplay frame drop issues.

I've tried to set up Netplay, but the frame drop is just massive. Offline, I can run 60 fps no problem. I checked the Netplay Community Settings code, and it's the only one checked. The only other change I made is this:

Other than that, my ping is 33 ms with 5 ms of jitter. Yet when I try to start a match with someone, it drops down to like 20 frames. This has happened all three times I've tried to play with someone.

I don't know what the problem could be and I'd like advice.

First off, use the latest build the community uses, 6554 was awhile ago.

Your ping will vary depending on who you play with. You have to adjust the buffer accordingly (divide the ping by 15 then round up). It will say in the netplay window your ping.

If it still lags, turn the buffer up to 100 in the netplay game, if it continues to lag then it's hardware because the buffer will account for a large amount of ping. If raising the buffer to 100 stopped the lag, then your ping is just spiking.

I'm not using that build, I'm using the latest one, just with the options it suggests.

Will putting the Framelimiter at 60 as it suggests opposed to auto cause issues?

Should be the same thing since the game runs at 60 fps. Best just to leave it at auto for other games.
