Netbattle or Shoddy battle?

Which is better to use? Or is there a better program?

Depends on the Gen.

GenIV=Shoddy

GenIII=Netbattle.

All you need to know.

I also believe Netbattle is really empty nowadays....

Hi there, welcome the PokeCenter.

As Metal~Mario said, Netbattle is good for Generation III (R/S/E) while Shoddy is great for Generation IV (D/P/Pt).

I greatly prefer NetBattle over Shoddy. The userbase may be slightly smaller (it's not that bad, really), but I find the functionality and the visuals of NetBattle to be much better.
