Actually I thought Ness looks better now. You see, its a pattern. If he looks better, hes higher tiered

SSB= Looked great, high tier
SSBM= Looked like crap, crap tier
SSBB= Looks good, impossible to tell

Huh... It seems to me that Ness's PK Flash just doesn't have the same... Umph that it did in Melee... Maybe it's because the explosion looks rather small and doesn't rumble the screen. Then again, I could have been having troubles landing it, I only used him 3 or 4 times out of 6 hours of play haha.

Well, comparisons will need to be very exact; most characters live longer, and knockback depreciation needs to be taken into account.

And yes, Ness's bair is long.

Also, PK Flash just looks weenier, its actually better.

PK Flash still has the same size hitbox I think, it's just that the graphics were bigger in Melee. It's a neat juggle tool now.

Ness goes hardcore in ffa's.
I say he's buffed. His air attacks have improved, and pk thunder is easier to utilize.

Ness = buffed for sure

Larger grab range
MUCH better PK fire
Better Yo-Yo (Up and down)
Spamming PK Thunder can combo enemies in the air for at least 30%
And even though I was incredibly pissed that DjC was out, it's actually pretty nice and opens up a different world for Ness.
