I'm considering very heavily to make one of these, except using a different type phone. I'm getting a new phone soon so I'm probably going to make it out of that. This guy used a one piece phone and mine is two pieces so I'm going have to be a little creative. Since my phone is two pieces I'm just going to take the whole phone apart and see what I'm dealing with. I'm thinking that I'll keep the bottom piece all put together for charging the battery and take apart the top piece because when I open up my phone it's not flat so the only way I wouldn't have to take it apart is by breaking the middle part which might be possible. If I do do it then I'll defiantly put up some pics to show you guys how it worked out.

Hey, that's pretty interesting. I'd like to do that with my phone, but I don't think it would work. Would it be durable? I drop my phone a lot so durability is vital lol.

I guessing it will be as durable as the phone itself. I'm probably going to try and put some sort of cushioning in any empty spaces now that you mention it. The guy that made it didn't really execute his idea too well because he under estimated the thickness of his phone so he had to expand the controller shell a little bit. My phone will probably fit inside the controller. I'll have to check it's thickness tomorrow when I'll plan out everything.

Sorry about the double post, but it looks like this isn't going to happen as I just broke my phone... I was trying to get the phone out of the shell and accidentally pulled a little too hard on the piece that connects the screen to the bottom piece and it snapped (Not a very durable phone...). If I can find another crappy phone that I can just wreck then I'll try to be a little bit more careful. My friend is also very interested in making this so if he does do it I'll definitely try and get some pictures.
