#460 Abomasnow @ Leftovers
Snow Warning , Brave
HP 252 / Def 128 / Sp. Def 128

Ice Shard
Leech Seed
Substitute
Grass knot

Pretty much the spine of the team. sets up hail. a decent sub-seeder. It's also a mixed attacker.

#365 Walrein @ Leftovers
Ice Body , Modest
HP 252 / Def 128 / Sp. Def 128

Yawn
Surf
Toxic
Protect

Walrein serves as the wall of the team. Leftover's + Ice body restores 12% HP each turn. Toxic + Protect combo hurts. i also put yawn there to get my opponent to switch out there steel types.

#478 Froslass @ Brightpowder
Snow Cloak , Timid
HP 6 / Sp. Atk 252 / Spd 252

Froslass just *****. It's max Speed is 350 which makes it a lot faster than most. taunt for skarm. thunderbolt for gyarados. Substitute + Snow Cloak will surely annoy your opponent. With max Sp. Atk, it's a decent special sweeper.

Substitute
Thunderbolt
Blizzard
Taunt

#473 Mamoswine @ Choice Band
Snow Cloak , Adamant
HP 252 / Atk 252 / Spd. 6

Ice Shard
Super Power
Earthquake
Stone Edge

Mamoswine is undoubtedly the star of this team. His attacks give him amazing type coverage. Ice shard will usually OHK dragons. Max HP makes him live a long time. Main Physical Sweeper.

# 461 Weavile @ Life Orb
Pressure , Jolly
HP 6 / Atk 252 / Spd 252

Fake Out
Ice Shard
Night Slash
Swords Dance

I'm not a big fan of weavile, but it often comes in handy. I gave it life orb for the nice attack boost. i figure it wouldn't live long anyway so life orb doesn't hurt so badly. Fake Out because it's annoying / good. Ice Shard for guaranteed first strike. I also threw in swords dance for when i KNOW someone is going to switch. (like on a choice scarf pokemon that just used psychic) and STAB night slash is cool.

#377 Regirock @ Leftovers
Clearbody , Careful
HP 252 / Atk 6 / Sp. Def 252

Fire Punch
Explosion
Stealth Rock
Toxic

Regirock is the oddball of the team. usually switch to him when skarm/ scizor come out. he's the stealth rocker of the team because he will more than likely be able to eat two hits. Fire punch ***** scizor.

i've won about three of every four games with this team. but when i did lose, it was pretty badly. here are some of it's obvious flaws. I need help finding a way around them.

- Infernape. thank god he doesn't take hits well. especially after a close combat. but i have to do a lot of switching to take him out, and he'll usually do considerable damage to my team before dying.

- Stealth Rock / Spikes. everyone's taking 10% or 25% upon switching in. the obvious solution is to put rapid spin on the team. but where would i make the cut?

- Heatran + Metagross. they hurt alot and the only ways i've been able to deal with them before is with walrien. but i'll usually lose to a team that has the both of them.

- Tyranitar / Hippowdon. kills my hail. and rocks don't bother them too much.

- Abomasnow + Focus Punch? i often question whether i should remove grass knot for focus punch. Abomasnow doesn't do enough damage as it is. but one of the ways i cope with that is by making it a mixed attacker and preying on my opponent's weakest defense. But should i make it a strong Physical hitter, or an average mixed attacker?

comments, critiques, and advice are welcomed and appreciated.

your abomasnow should have some speed to make sub seeding more effective.

generally, hail is best at stall when used in tandem with residual damage, most notably toxic spikes. froslass is also a good spiker.

try to fit these moves somewhere on your team:

stealth rock
roar
spikes
toxic spikes
u-turn
rapid spin

and then rework the pokemon that use them around abomasnow.

Keep Grass Knot on Aboma. His typing makes him good against water-types and bad against anything else.

Walrein can stall for 32 turns with Sub + Protect, so consider dropping Toxic for Substitute.

Tentacruel is great with Walrein, it resists most of the weaknesses on any Hail team, can Rapid Spin (helps your weakness to entry hazards), and use Toxic Spikes to make Walrein stall more effective. He counters Infernape and some Heatran.
