His uair juggling is ridiculous and it can be started straight off of zero, and if he's got a punch you can consider yourself dead. Also, he can essentially keep ****** you by regrabbing as you fall.

His shffl'd bairs are a decent defense when you're approaching, and then there's the darn up+b out of shield that's a real good punisher if you're behind him. Additionally, against CF's recovery, DK's ledgehopped up+b's work rather well, more so than any sort of spiking. Either it knocks you way far, or just enough at low to mid percents that the DK can get back on-stage and do as he wants to you (dair/fair/bair...).

Also his up+b is a b*tch sometimes to edgeguard. Let's say he expects you to immediately try to aerial him as he's returning. So he then stalls in spot with up+b for a bit, then DI's quick towards the stage to grab the ledge. Is there a good way to punish this as soon as I see him do that stalling bit, without killing myself? Drop below and uair maybe? Hasn't really worked for me...

I just need some general advice on approach, edgeguarding, recovery, and also the best way to DI out of the juggling....and maybe counterpick stages...

and heck go ahead and suggest a counter character. I jus need to be able to **** this ape.

well i just rip his balls off with marth but with falcon is a bit harder...

just try to combo him to death, make him shield and make him think you will atack him but then waveland and grab him, you should combo him right there and i dunno how to evade that **** edgeguarding =_= is worse than bowsers(or as annoying) but i never let dk players live to that extent just dont let them breath and keep em on air their air game is fair easily to manage ,their juggle can be easily breaked with falcon kicks. stomp and the like(or just throw a knee and ff it they always eat it XD)

as for stages FD and yoshi story are good ones(at least for me)

To tell you the truth, DK is easy to beat with falcon. Use ur Up-air alot into knee. N-Air is also great. u can bust combos like N-air into the knee. or U-throw into knee( of course u need to get DK to a certain %). also u need to edge guard. U-tilt is a great way to stay on map(if ur scared of going out) and edge guard. With DK's U-air u can D-air and DI, there isn't that much u can do when ur in there just DI out(DI away from it). Sum cool edge guards u can also do( assuming DK is recovering) is run off the map and fall for a bit then jumb to U-air, then right after recover back on. also u can. also member that DK has a vertical recover so u can jumb out there and spike him, most likely he wont be able to recover, unless he has low %. Sum ways of recovering urself i suggust going for the ledge and getting the sweet spot all the time. if he still knocks u off use ur Up-B over him( also member that CF has excellent DI when u use the Up-B). also u can Air dodge to get on the map.
