Try not to have 3 or more conflicting weaknesses, unless you have 3 resistances(or 2 immunities).
Post your 6 and ill help you from there.

And a good bit of people use an AR, especially for pokesav.

You just need to choose six pokemon you like, and as for training and there are plenty of threads that explain advanced training techniques such as EV training.
