Need some Riivolution help please!

Hi! I'm sorta new to the whole mods thing. anyway, I have 3 problems i need resolved.

1: I tried hexing in the Shadow voice pack with Sawndz. They work on the cpu, but when i enable custom sounds on Riivolution, it freezes with a black screen at the launch of Brawl minus. And it's the American smashbros_sound.brsar

2: Every time i pick ZSS/Samus or Zelda/Sheik the game freezes.

3: Every time i put a rel file in the stages folder, the level that it's supposed to replace freezes.

I really need some help.

Are you putting the stage .pac in the stages folder too?
If you are, and it still freezes, then try putting just the .rel and no .pac. In that case, it SHOULD freeze (or at least be messed up), and if it's not, then something is wrong (probably with the XML or with where you're putting the files.)

Alright. I'll try to put only the rel file in the folder and see what happens. I was putting the pac and the rel, so let's see what this does. I'll report back once i've tested it.
