I'm fairly new to competitive smash, so I'm always on the lookout to see how I can improve my game.

I'm aware that I have many bad habits. I'm working on fixing it. But if you feel that you need to say more about it, please do. I need all the advice that I can get.

Vs Patooty (We agreed on an all FD set)

Thanks.

First impression:

Don't approach so much. Your opponent is reacting to your approach a lot, and other times you're running blindly right into his attack. Fox is probably the hardest character to do this to, maybe Sheik, but camp and bait him and punish when he leaves himself open.

EDIT:

Just watched more, you aren't as blatant in your approaches as I thought, but there's still room for improvement.

Alright. You know how to use the knee.
How to use nair to defend/aprroach.
You are using raptor boost at the right moments.
Your tech chasing is really good, or you are just a great gambler.
Which is basically desame =D
you even use some back air to prevent the fox from approaching you!

all very good things, only i have not seen you doing that many up airs.
Not that is necessary against fox but just saying.
Sometimes you can do a few up airs before hitting the knee ;)
the fox player Patooty did give you a hard time in match 1 , but after that you totally regained the control on the stage!
fun to watch ^^

Yeah, I know what you're saying. I've seen uairs do some pretty devastating combos and need to incorporate more into my game.

Thanks Jeapie.
