So, I downloaded the downloader to download pm3.0 to my sd card (2gb), but nothing shows up on the sd card. So I downloaded the zip file myself and extracted it onto the sd, put it in my wii with brawl. Go to stage builder. Nothing shows up for the SD card. Can someone tell if I'm doing something wrong? I've already deleted my custom stages.

Not sure if this is helpful info. I'm a noob at this obviously. I've even tried etracting the zip file with winrar onto the sd card thinking that might help.
the files that show up on the sd card are
(folder) apps
(folder) codes
(folder) projectm
background.png
gameconfig.txt
Am I missing something, or skip some important step?
EDIT: I realized I was not running the nohomebrew version, but still. even with that version I am still unable to get passed the gecko screen, it keeps running into constant errors.
