Need Help!

Hello i am LashD094. I need some help on recording brawl matches and uploading them 2 Youtube. I see MANY manymanymany videos of brawl matches on youtube. and it didn't look like someone just had a camera up 2 the screen. It was exact game quality. Still following? good. anyway, i really wanna upload some of my brawl matches 2 Youtube. i've looked for a something on here that will tell me how to do this. I found several threads discussing it. Every single one of them confused me to where i gave up. One said u had to have a card of some sort. another had all these weird wires that involved hooking them up 2 the computer, the Wii, and the TV. another had a big box. So im very confused. Can someone please show me how to do it step by step if it's not too much trouble?

Okay probably the easiest one involves the card, it's called and SD card
You can put it into the SD slot in the front of your Wii
So here's what you need:
Your SD card
Your wii
A few friends to make some good replays or have good existing replays
A computer that has an SD slot and some sort of video editing software (Look for free ones, or just use Windows movie maker)

So what your going to want to do is take your replays you want in your video and copy or just save them to your SD card that you placed into your Wii, after you have what you want take out the SD card and place it in your computer's SD slot and load them into your video editing software and cut them down to just the moments you want or whatever you want to do, then save it and go to youtube and upload it from your computer and success :]

Where will i be able 2 find it in the SD card exactly? btw just 2 let u know i already have all the necessary folders set up for the Wii in the SD.

Well you can get one at like walmart or best buy or something basically any place that sells electronics
You'll probably want like a 4gig one or maybe more, depends on how much you have and how fast you want to transfer it to your computer.... There are SD cards made specifically for the Wii, they are usually a bit more expensive than something else that'd work perfectly fine also, It's about $12 for a 4gig card

i already have one. um i got the replays on the sd and i put it in the computer. when i tried to import the replays a message poppepd up saying you are trying to import a file from a DVD or a removable media. it told me to then use something called media downloader. there was a button for it so i pressed it. it popped up some weird thing and i can't figure out how to work the little media downloader. I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 7 btw.

Sorry, but that's just plain wrong. Replays are simply button inputs that the game saves. When you load a replay, it basically "replays" the match with the same button presses, etc. No actual videos are recorded.

You'll need a capture card.

This is a good guide, but its outdated. Main problem is the fact that the gamebridge recorder that the guide mentions is megas expensive right now. If I were you, I would go to amazon/google and look for a good, cheap capture card.

There are several sd cards that are "made for the wii", but they're just normal sd cards with a Wii logo on them. However, in my Wal-mart the 2 gb Wii one is cheaper than other brands, but it may not be the same for you.

O_O ok.... well that changes alot. I'm not good with technical stuff but my Dad is a wizard at this type of stuff so i'll have him help me to see if have this stuff. Thank u!

Oh, one more thing, i know this doesn't go in the computer cafe but how do u make ur text different colors? cuz u made all that pink-ish.

Well, I just use the little color thing next to sizes above my post.

You highlight what you want to be colored, click the little A with a black line under it, and pick a color. There are other colors that you can do as well, but the ones in that menu are the basic ones. They're really all you'll need.
