need help with shdl

One solution is to post this in the advice thread. Another is to short hop with Y and slide your thumb down to B. But I've heard many different methods such as claw or using the analog stick to short hop. Try any and see what's right for you.

yea well i tryed to use the controll stick just flicking it up and pressing b a few times that works sometime but it just feels weird :S

Yeah, I'm having trouble with that too. I guess you just practice a lot. I've never heard of short hopping with the y button and then sliding it down to the b button. I should try that.

Yeah just practice it up man, people on the forums can only really tell you how, but you still have to make it yourself up to a certain point.

All you have to do is slightly flick the joystick up and tap B twice, it's extremely easy after you practice a few days with it. Granted, don't do it in tourny play until you're 100% confident with it, because you could accidently firefox, and that is only a good thing at the most random times lol.

I learned to shorthop with the control stick, so that's all I have to do...
