Need help with marth

Hi, i have just starting playing smash. I have watch ,my friends play for years but just started. We tested out all the characters and discovered that i play best with marth. Im still fairly bad, could anyone give me advice that will be able to get me playing better? Thank you so much if you can, and thanks alot of reading.

Read the melee general forum stickies, a majority of links are there to help you get better at this game.
Go on youtube and search for wak's training videos (3 of them).

There are quite a few threads on the first page of the Marth boards that can help you out.

Emblem Lords, approach with Marth for one is a good read.

Take a look around and practice what you find here.
