Need help with chainthrowing Fox and Falco...

Okay, I have the chainthrowing part down.

It's just, whenever my opponent DIs behind me, I usually cannot grab them in time and keep the chain alive.

I see videos on the internet all the time where Marths are able to quickly turn around and grab them. Any help?

Pivoting
DD a bunch and notice how Marth is standing still, you can grab then.

Or you could JC a grab, run jump and immediately grab

i'm assuming you mean at lower percentages where it seems you don't have enough time to turn around and grab.

what you need to do is get a feel for when the animation of your uthrow is done, and then just slightly move your control stick in the direction you want, as if you were doing a tilt, and grab.

this works for me, but i seem to mess up more often on falco. hope it helps.

maybe try wavedashing? altho that mite make u go too far...

Just keep practicing it isn't easy at first, just try to watch them carefully and do your best to rect on time.
