As the title hints to above, I want to be able to have Mario Bros. X by @Xermo and Mario Bros. (vBrawl) occupy the same stage slot: in this case STGFAMICOM. Mario Bros X would load by default and the vBrawl version would be the ASL slot (accessed by holding L). I've tried multiple times and I've only got one of the slots to work, whenever I try to fix it to where it may theoretically work, it doesn't. The only actual solution I can see working is if someone recreates vBrawl Mario Bros. over Battlefield so that it can be properly ported and use Mario Bros. X's .rel file that came in the download. And yes I've tried it over a STGCUSTOM slot and the vBrawl stage remained stubborn as ever.

If anyone has either achieved both stages coexisting in the same slot via ASL or has the skills to recreate the vBrawl stage over Battlefield, I'd greatly appreciate it.

First I set it up with the ASL tool to make it so the STGFAMICOM slot has an ASL Slot to use: for me I went with it being like how the PMDT went with it. Next comes the testing. First I grab Mario Bros X and port it to both slots to make sure it works properly... that includes the .rel in Xerom's download. Now I try re-adding the vBrawl Mario Bros. Stage. Usually I attempt to add it as an ASL stage in the _Z slot, but as far as I know personally, that can't work. So I try it the other way around: vBrawl loads by default and the X version is the ASL stage and it still has either one or both of the stages crashing... and this is with re-adding their proper respective .rels to the corresponding stage slots.

I'm full convinced that the only way I see this working is that the vBrawl Mario Bros. is recreated over Battlefield from scratch.
