Need help with an online problem

I got Project64K a few days ago and my USB Gamepad's stick moves super awkward on it. But it works perfectly on the Project64 emulator I've been using for a long time. It moves only in a very rigid, square fashion.

does project 64k/project 64 have the same input plugin? Are the deadzones the same?
