Need help with a Point System!

Hello! Our local Smash 4 scene has been growing, and we would like to start taking things a bit more seriously. We have scheduled weekly friendlies and Monthly tournaments; however, for these tournaments, we are looking to incorporate a point system in order to have a local power ranking. I cannot seem to find any sort of generator or any straight forward help on how to accomplish this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Make each place (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) get a set amount of points for each event, and tally those up, the higher their point the higher their placings, easy.

Okay, Ive gotten this far, but It wont let me edit the number of people and the number of points I can give. Will that happen itself when I do the final submit of the bracket?

Isn't there a software that someone built that utilizes Glickoman ranking system? I figure that could be used by small or local communities to rank players.
