I need a little help perfect pivoting. I can't seem to do it right - I don't know how to cancel it into jab or shield or a non-side special move, even though I've seen all of those being done various times.

Need Help Perfect Pivoting

Smash Ace
Use the C-stick. Set it to attack instead of smash and you can do tilts, and if you go diagonally, it'll jab.
